Calcined coke is divided into three types: low sulfur, medium sulfur, and high sulfur

The use of low sulfur calcined coke: as insulation and filling material for manufacturing graphite electrodes and special carbon products; Applied as a carbon enhancing or reducing agent in the metallurgical casting industry, as well as in the titanium industry;

The use of medium sulfur calcined coke: generally used for aluminum smelting, mainly for pre baked anodes and cathodes used in aluminum electrolysis;

The use of high sulfur calcined coke: it can be used in chemical production, silicon carbide, or as fuel for metal manufacturing, glass factories, etc;

The main application field of calcined coke in China is the electrolytic aluminum industry, which accounts for more than 65% of the total amount of calcined coke used,
